rudolf steiner (1861-1925)
Rudolf Steiner was an Austrian philosopher, scientist and social reformer who inspired new approaches to medicine, education, the arts, social reforms, economics and agriculture. In 1924 he was asked to speak to a group of over 100 farmers and landowners, all concerned about the diminishing fertility of their soil. His insights and suggestions led to the foundation of the biodynamic movement.
